Enjin is a gaming, um, engine, that has built-in NFT dynamics that make it one of the more popular blockchain gaming metaverses. Originally a traditional gaming company, Enjin began working with blockchains in 2012 and hasn’t looked back. One of the founders even recognized some technical shortcomings of early NFT and wrote new code for Ethereum that made in-game NFT possible. Building with this idea, every in-game item on Enjin is an NFT, with ENJ hard-written into the code. This allows games, items and character attributes to be exchanged for real world value, essentially paying gamers for playing games on ENJ.
