Polkadot is a platform with its native currency DOT. Its main goal is to help other platforms to interact with each other. Similar to before when we had a computer at home but there was no internet, so we couldn’t interact with friends who also had a computer. Same with blockchain platforms – they’re great on their own, but the ability to interact would make a huge difference.
